For a wealth of information and resources related to special needs, go to the 'do2Learn' website at http://www.do2learn.com/index.htm. This is one of the best sites I've found in terms of usefulness and range. Not only that, but nearly all of the tools and resources are free for anyone to use.

This site has useful content related to academics, social skills and behavior. It also has includes some resources related to daily living skills and vocational training. For each subcategory, there are multiple examples, tools and user-friendly explanations.

Help your colleagues by letting them know about do2Learn. The site is useful, relevant and informative for nearly all special education teachers.  For easy reference, activities and suggestions are coded by type and age group. Teachers can learn from the information provided or simply save time by using (or modifying) the do2Learn resources rather than creating materials 'from scratch'.

Make the most of your scarce professional time by using (or recommending to others) do2Learn. It's a great 'no cost' gift that can be used again and again!
